The Strongsville Education Foundation promotes and supports outstanding achievement for all students served by Strongsville City Schools by raising and disbursing grants for innovative projects and student scholarships.
Strongsville Education Foundation also funds district wide student focused programming.

Since our founding in 1984, SEF has raised and distributed more than $500,000 to support student achievement.

The Strongsville Education Foundation (SEF) was created by a small group of concerned community leaders and established to encourage and inspire excellence in our schools. We provide incentives to continue high performance standards, preserve valued traditions, and provide money for needs that are beyond traditional funding. We believe that these dollars will continue and enhance the educational excellence that Strongsville parents and citizens have come to expect. SEF has a mission of collecting and distributing funds to promote excellence in education. Distribution of funds may be accomplished through student scholarships, grants for innovative classroom projects, or for a special need of the school district. In addition to managing the affairs of the non-profit organization, the board of trustees must approve the distribution of funds.

Bring Home the Chrome:

The October 30th, “Bring Home the Chrome” Friend & Fundraising Breakfast was a huge success. More than 250 educators, nonprofit leaders, students and business and community members were in attendance. Strongsville City Schools students were magnificently represented as they served as musicians, art exhibitors and table greeters. Two students spoke during the program and shared their appreciation for the support of our community as they travel their education journey. The entire program emphasized the importance and need for technology in the classroom. SEF has undertaken the huge task of raising $250,000 to allow the capacity to have Chrome Books for high school student’s usage. The 2nd Annual Breakfast officially launched the Technology Campaign. Brian Jungeberg, SEF Trustee, is chairing the campaign. The video shown at the breakfast is below.
